What is OptiCharge and when do I take it?
OptiCharge is a complex carbohydrate and electrolyte drink taken the night before surgery. Drink both packets before bed to reduce the metabolic stress of surgery and ensure your body goes into the procedure properly fueled and hydrated rather than depleted from fasting.
When do I start taking OptiFuel?
Begin taking one packet daily starting the day after surgery. Mix with 12–16 oz of water, milk, or non-dairy milk and shake for 30 seconds in the included shaker bottle. Continue daily throughout your recovery period.
How is OptiFuel different from a regular protein powder?
