Only accepted if the pillow is completely untouched and the sterile bag remains sealed — 80% refund. The customer is responsible for return shipping.
All refunds are issued after we receive and inspect your return. The final refund amount is determined upon inspection.
International Orders: All international sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds on orders shipped outside the United States.

Yes — we understand timing is critical. We offer an Express shipping option at checkout so you can receive your products within 2 business days.
Are your products covered by insurance or HSA/FSA?

How long do most people use the pillow?

What is pre-operative carbohydrate loading and why does it matter?
Carbohydrate loading before surgery is an evidence-based alternative to traditional pre-surgical fasting. Rather than going into the operating room in a depleted state, carb loading provides complex carbohydrates and electrolytes that help reduce the metabolic and biochemical stress surgery places on the body. It is a core component of ERAS® (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) protocols and is supported by published clinical research across orthopedic procedures including total knee and hip arthroplasty.
How do I take the XR® Pre-Op Carb Loading?
The evening before surgery, drink 2 packets mixed with water over the course of 2 hours. On the morning of surgery, drink 1 packet mixed with water 2–4 hours before your procedure. Always mix with water only — no juice, milk, or other liquids — to maintain clear-fluid status per anesthesia requirements.
Is it NSF Certified?
Mixing with anything other than water changes the osmolarity of the drink and may not meet your anesthesiologist's clear-fluid requirements. Water only ensures the drink is safe and appropriate for pre-surgical use.
How many packets do I need for one pre-surgical protocol?
Yes — the XR® Pre-Op Carb Loading Drink is NSF Certified for Sport®, the most rigorous independent third-party supplement certification available. It verifies that the product contains no banned substances, matches its label claims, has no unsafe contaminant levels, and is manufactured in a GMP-certified facility.
When should I order?
The standard protocol uses 3 packets — 2 the evening before surgery and 1 the morning of the procedure. The 3-pack is designed to cover exactly one complete pre-surgical carb loading protocol.
Can I purchase this in person?
Order at least 1–2 weeks before your surgery date to account for shipping time. Orders placed before 11:00 AM PST on weekdays ship same day. Weekend orders are processed the following business day. Note that XR® products shipped via UPS cannot be delivered to PO Boxes — select FedEx SmartPost or FedEx Ground Economy if you need PO Box delivery.
Is this appropriate for diabetic patients?
Yes — XR® products are available at two locations in the Los Angeles area.
